Do I really have to pay for virus protection?

Answer: No, you don't. There
are virus protection programs out there that
rival the big subscription based names that
are free for home users. My personal favorite
is AVG, but there are others. Of course, these
programs give you option to upgrade to the "professional
version" for a fee if you want to be able
to tweak it more or want to obtain a license
for more than one computer (such as computers
on a business network). Just be sure that you
only have one anti-virus program running at
a time.
